Mielle Avocado & Tomano Anti-Frizz Products

Beat the Frizz with Mielle’s Cold Application Technology™

by Rochelle June 28, 2023

This article is compensated by Impact.com and it’s advertisers. All opinions are mine alone.

Dealing with frizzy hair? Well, you’re not alone. It’s pretty safe to say that if you have curls, you have also experienced frizz. Within the last couple of years, my focus has shifted from creating major volume to having more defined curls. This is why it made sense to partner with Mielle to introduce their Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz line (with Cold Application Technology™) to you all.

What is Cold Application Technology™

What makes this particular line from Mielle so special is their exclusive Cold Application Technology™. They’ve added it to the stylers from this system and claim that “It uses a ‘cold on contact’ approach to help close hair cuticles in place and reduce frizz during styling.”

a close up image of the Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Cold Application Technology Sticker

The Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz stylers can be refrigerated to help smooth and seal the hair cuticle. This process is optional however and you can still control frizz regardless.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz System

Let’s discuss what products make up the line and the key benefits. The entire system is created for textured hair prone to frizz and contains the key ingredients of Tamanu Oil and Avocado Oil. Further, you don’t have to worry about them containing any silicones, parabens, sulfates, paraffin, mineral oil, DEA, or any animal testing.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Shampoo & Conditioner

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Shampoo

This shampoo gently cleanses and replenishes moisture in the hair. Product buildup and residue are removed from the hair and scalp leaving it prepared for the conditioner. The hair is left feeling soft and smooth.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Conditioner

This conditioner provides nourishment and helps smooth the surface of the hair. It conditions well to make detangling a breeze while offering manageability. The result is hair that feels soft, shiny, and ready for styling.

The Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Stylers

As I mentioned before, these stylers have Cold Application Technology™ and can be placed in the refrigerator if you so choose. All are designed to help with frizz among the other benefits.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Slip & Seal Leave-In Conditioner

This leave-in conditioner starts by softening the hair which in turn adds slip for better detangling. As a first step, it preps the hair by smoothing it and sealing the cuticle in place. This leaves the hair with tons of shine and ready for the next step.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Stay Straight Serum

This serum has multiple benefits. First, it helps seal the surface of the hair. It also offers heat protection up to 450 degrees. This added layer of protection works well in humidity to prevent frizz and help straight styles from reverting back to curly. The result is styles that are shiny, soft, and long-lasting.

Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Curl Perfector

This curl perfector is a cream formula that helps with frizz by smoothing and sealing the hair. The creamy formula provides a curl definition that lasts while leaving the hair soft and shiny.

My Results & Final Thoughts

For the best results, it’s advised to use the entire system. I don’t straighten my hair so I just didn’t use the Mielle Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Stay Straight Serum. The shampoo did an excellent job of cleansing and removing product buildup while still leaving my hair soft. The conditioner had tons of slip and made detangling a breeze.

An image of the Mielle Avocado & Tamanu styling products in a skin care refrigerator

Because I have some sort of understanding about what makes the hair cuticle open and close, I loved applying the stylers straight out of the refrigerator. Using the warm water to cleanse and condition helped open up the hair cuticle while applying the stylers cold helped seal it. Genius! This resulted in my curls being super shiny and defined. Plus, trying my styling products cold with the summer heat coming was so refreshing!

An image of Rochelle Masella after applying the Mielle Avocado & Tamanu line to her curls

With the popularity of skin care refrigerators, I never even considered placing my hair care stylers in there. This innovative technology is one that I hope to continue seeing in hair care products of the future. Especially for those that are looking the beat the frizz!

5 Low-Tension Hairstyles to Try on Your Curls

by Rochelle February 17, 2023

Curly hair can be both beautiful and challenging to manage. After discovering that I have traction alopecia, I’ve learned that the key to saving my edges is to find low-tension hairstyles that don’t pull on my already fragile hairline. This means doing looser styles that don’t stress the delicate areas on my scalp. So, I’ve compiled a list of 5 low-tension hairstyles to try on your curls. Here are some of my favorites.

5 Low-Tension Hairstyles

  1. The Wash-and-Go

The Wash-and-Go is an easy low-tension hairstyle that lets your curls form in their natural state. To achieve this style, simply wash your hair, apply a leave-in conditioner and a curl-defining cream. Choosing the right curl-enhancing products will produce the best results as well. While it might be tempting, it’s best to keep your hands off your curls as it dries to avoid frizz.

  1. The Braid-Out

The Braid-Out is another low-tension hairstyle that is perfect for curly hair. Start by braiding your hair while it’s damp and let it air dry. I like to use curl foams to keep the result light and bouncy. The braids help to define and elongate your curls, and once you take the braids out, you’ll be left with a wavy, defined style.

Wavy Braid Out Hairstyle
  1. The Twist-Out

The Twist-Out is similar to the Braid-Out, but instead of braiding your hair, you do a two-strand twist. Begin by twisting your hair while it’s damp (also with a curl foam) and letting it air dry. This style is slightly looser than the braid-out but creates another beautiful, low-tension hairstyle.

an image of a low tension curly hairstyle
  1. The Pineapple

The Pineapple hairstyle works well for those with naturally curly or wavy hair. It is probably my favorite go-to hairstyle because it’s easy and typically done daily on my non-wash days. All you have to do is gather your hair into a high ponytail on the top of your head and secure it with a silk scrunchie (to avoid breakage). This style is excellent for hot days, looks elegant, and protects your hair while you sleep.

  1. Loose Low Ponytail

Lastly, a loose low ponytail is an easy low-tension hairstyle option. To achieve this style, gather your hair into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck and secure it with a hair tie or hair accessory. Leave a few strands of hair around your face for a soft, romantic look that also takes the stress off the hairline.

Now, you have a better understanding of why low-tension hairstyles are essential for those with curly hair. By using the right products, avoiding over-manipulating your hair, and embracing styles like the Wash-and-Go, your curls, and hairline can live their best lives.

5 Kids Curly Hair Products Our Family Loves

by Rochelle February 7, 2023

My kids are finally in school so I thought I’d share the 5 kids’ curly hair products our family loves. I’ve been a bit absent from this blog because I was totally engulfed in motherhood (cue the hair in the bun and other easy curly hairstyles). This brings me to why I wanted to include them in this post. I love sharing my favorite curly hair products here but haven’t shared anything designed for children. Naturally, I have to include something for the young ones and I think I found a few winners.

Kids Curly Hair Products

For this post, I want to cover all the bases. A shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, and curl cream. I try not to overdo it with their products so I’m narrowing it down to our favorites from each category. Plus, they’re extra squirmish when it’s time to do their hair.

Tots by Babyganics 2-in-1 Curly Shampoo & Conditioner

This tear-free formula is wonderful for quick hair washing because of the dual-purpose formula. Although it is a gel-like formula that feels like a shampoo, it has a built-in conditioner to help soften curls. It contains coconut oil & shea butter with a mild apricot chamomile fragrance. It’s also nice that this doesn’t contain sulfates, parabens, silicones, or phthalates.

The Honest Co. Honest Conditioner Everyday Gentle

This moisturizing formula is also tear-free and contains naturally-derived ingredients. There are options on the fragrance but we love the Sweet Orange Vanilla scent on our boys. It does a really good job of making the hair soft and helps with the tangles. When my boys wore their curls a little longer this was a must-have in conjunction with a Wet Brush.

Raw Sugar Kids Strong & Shiny Conditioning Leave-In

Raw Sugar Kids is a newer brand that we started using last year but we’ve been happy with their products. This leave-in is lightweight and helps soften knots and frizz. Its key ingredients are vitamins B5 and Baobab seed oil and its Strawberry + Oat Milk scent reminds me a bit of a strawberry milkshake. One particular thing I like about this brand is that it says that its products are allergy tested.

Young King Curling Cream

I definitely saved the best for last because the Young King Curling Cream is a repeat purchase. Its slippery moisturizing formula contains shea butter and marshmallow root and adds amazing definition and shine to their curls. It has a flexible hold that keeps my boy’s curls in place for most of the day.

Now that you know some of my favorite kids’ curly hair products, share some of yours! I’d love to swap favorites so that my family can try new items.

Noughty Hair Care Review on Fine, Curly Hair

by Rochelle October 27, 2021

Finding an affordable curly hair line can be challenging when we’re focusing on ingredients. Luckily, I discovered the brand Noughty Hair Care that has proven to be a great addition to my curl collection. So, today I thought I’d share my thoughts by doing a Noughty Hair Care review on my fine, curly hair.

Noughty Hair Care Review & Details

The Noughty Hair Care brand is 97% natural , cruelty free, and vegan friendly. Plus, their products do not contain parabens, petrochemicals, sulfates, or silicones. For this review and demo, I tried a selection of different lines from the brand that I thought would work well in my fine, curly hair.

After an Ulta Beauty haul, I purchased everything I needed for a wash n go. This included the Noughty:

  • Wave Hello Curl Defining Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment
  • Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner
  • Wave Hello Curl Taming Cream
  • Hey Curl Scrunching Jelly

My ultimate goal was to find an affordable line that was made with cleaner ingredients. At $12.99 and under, it was easier to do a haul on a budget.

Cleansing and Conditioning with Noughty

Noughty Wave Hello Curl Defining Shampoo. This gentle shampoo cleanses the hair without drying it out, leaving the curls to feel soft and defined. It’s made with sea kelp extract, avocado oil, and chlorella extract that helps provide the hair with vitamins and amino acids to keep moisture in and smooth hair. Further, the scent and formula smells fresh to me. It states online that is has an invigorating ocean fresh scent if that helps you understand better.

Introducing the Curly Hair Product Tracker, a printable to document how each and every one of your products works on your curls.

Noughty Wave Hello Conditioner. This moisturizing conditioner contains avocado oil, sea fennel, and Irish moss. After use, I definitely felt that the lost moisture in my hair had been replenished and much stronger. Just like the shampoo, it has a lovely, light, ocean scent.

Noughty Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment. Although this mask is meant to help very dry and overly processed hair, my fairly-healthy curls enjoyed this. My hair is in pretty good condition but after adding highlights I did notice that I could use a really good treatment. What I love about this is that I can use it for less than 5 minutes and see wonderful results that help soften and really moisturize my hair.

The benefits state that it will help to improve the structure of the hair’s surface, make it easy to comb and add shine. In addition, it contains lecithin, meadow foam oil, and argan oil to smooth, lock-in moisture, and help with elasticity. The fragrance has a warm almond scent.

noughty hair care review

Styling with Noughty

Noughty Intensive Care Leave In Conditioner. As I mentioned before, the Intensive Care line from Noughty is designed for damaged hair. This really made sense for me to use prior to cutting my hair short. To clarify, I waited 3 YEARS for a trim (insert face palm emoji). It’s a little on the heavier side so it may not be recommend to everyone with fine curls but possibly with smaller amounts.

This leave-in contains vitamin E, argan oil, shea butter, and has a lovely argan and almond scent. If you find this to be too heavy on your curls, I’d opt for the Noughty Thirst Aid Conditioning & Detangling Spray.

Noughty Curl Taming Cream. This curl cream has a smooth and creamy texture that leaves curls feeling hydrated. It truly helped tame my frizz and keep the curl definition locked in place. It’s definitely been one of my favorite items from them so far.

As far as the key ingredients and benefits it contains QuinOxy (Noughty’s unique curl optimizing formula), a blend of wheat extract, camelia oil, and linoleic acids, and mango butter. I found this formula helped to soften, smooth flyaways, and moisturize my hair.

Noughty Hey Curl Scrunching Jelly. I’m a big fan of gels which is why this lightweight gel was one of my favorites. Although this option felt thick as it came out, it added major shine and definition without the hard crunch. It uses vitamin-rich sea botanicals blended with copolymers to give long lasting definition along with a blend of plant oils to help strengthen and reduce damage.

My Top Picks from Noughty Hair Care

Out of all of the Noughty Hair Care products I used, my top 3 are the Noughty Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment, the Noughty Wave Hello Curl Taming Cream, and the Noughty Hey Curl Scrunching Jelly. I can definitely see myself purchasing these again and adding them to my curl collection.

Hopefully this Noughty Hair Care review gave you a thorough understanding of how their products work on my fine, curly hair. Please let me know if you have tried this as well on your curls and what your favorite products are from them.

Sew In Weave Pros and Cons (On Fine Curly Hair)

by Rochelle February 22, 2020

Over a decade ago, I wore a sew in weave on my fine curly hair. There were many factors as to why I did but it truly came down to my insecurities. My hair was damaged so badly with bleach, relaxer and started to break off. So, I thought I’d share the pros and cons that I experienced from wearing a sew-in weave.

How It Began

This was back in the early 2000’s at a time when I still hated my curls and naturally curly hair was not as normalized as it is now. You didn’t see celebrities, models rocking their natural curls. The majority of them were using flat-irons, still relaxing, wearing weaves and wigs. Plus, I was young and very influenced by it.

In my eyes, I wanted to fit into the norm. I figured as long as my hair was in the condition it was, wearing a weave would hide and conceal my damage. When it came time to get my weave, the majority of my hair was in a protective corn-row with the hairline and a horseshoe section left out. My tracks were sewn in with a needle and thread. This was done to hide the weft and so I had the option to put my hair into a ponytail.

Image of girl with fine curly hair

Pros and Cons of Wearing a Sew In Consistently

There were some pros and cons to wearing that type of weave. The pros included impressive hair growth every time we took it down to install new tracks. Another pro is that no one noticed the transition. My hairstylist took out my tracks and braids monthly, washed my hair, gave it a treatment, and trimmed my ends. Then we’d braid it back up and add the tracks again.

However, there were major cons that I blame myself for. For instance, I wasn’t giving my hair a break from the high tension protective style and the weight of the hair. It put so much stress on my hairline. My insecurities let me keep repeating this process for 8 YEARS causing traction alopecia that I still deal with to this day.

On top of that, I wore tracks that didn’t match my hair texture so I was constantly manipulating my natural hair texture with hot tools. While the braided areas were doing great and feeling healthier, my hairline and the horseshoe section had heat damage.

What I Learned

Looking back at that time and knowing what I know now, here’s what I would have done differently. I would have found my exact hair texture in those tracks just to avoid the heat damage. In addition, I would have also trained my hair to match my hair texture by using heatless options like perm and flexi-rods.

I definitely would have taken at least a month off in between each installment and for the sake of my edges. The stress and consistent tension were avoidable and completely my choice. The lesson learned here is finer, low-density textures have to be careful with high tension styles, heavy braids and twists.

Have you experienced traction alopecia from wearing weaves and high tension hairstyles? Share with me down below in the comments.

Winter Wash and Go Routine

Winter Wash And Go for Fine, Curly Hair

by Rochelle February 6, 2020

If you are looking for the perfect winter wash and go routine for fine curly hair, then look no more! This detailed hair routine not only moisturizes but adds volume. Follow these step by step directions on exactly how I wash my fine curly hair during the colder months.

This method can be done at anytime of year but because the hair typically drier (and takes longer to dry when it’s cold), this may be more helpful. In a nutshell, it’s my normal hair care routine enhanced with additional techniques and devices.

My Winter Wash and Go Routine

Before hopping in the shower, I like to do a pre-poo with a deep conditioner. The reason is because it helps soften and make the detangling process a bit easier. Plus, I spend less time in the shower.

Because I’m not following the traditional rules of applying my deep conditioner after washing my hair, I like to get my hair damp with a spray bottle. This ensures that I’m adding moisture first.

After my hair is damp, I create a mixture of my deep conditioner with sweet almond oil. Then, I apply this to my hair in sections. The next step is crucial for adding maximum moisture, using my Q-Redew. By using this handheld hair steamer, I’m able to blast the hair with moisture and make conditioner penetrate deeper. I use the prongs to steam and detangle then clip those sections back.

Once all sections are complete, I put on a disposable cap and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Then, I wash and condition my hair as normal. The only real difference in the styling portion of my routine is including plopping.

winter wash and go on fine curly hair

How to Avoid a Wet Head Outside

Plopping is a way to absorb excess water and product from the hair to help the hair dry quicker. Plus, it can create lots of volume to your curls.

After I apply my styling products, I use a large t-shirt to plop. You can do this overnight or after your normal wash routine. During the winter, it’s helpful to use a diffuser on a low speed and heat setting to avoid having wet hair outside.

What are your thoughts on my results? Will you try this method and also share your winter curly hair tips below in the comments.

Volumizing Products for fine curly hair

Volumizing Products for Fine Curly Hair

by Rochelle October 28, 2019

My favorite volumizing products for fine curly hair plump and thicken it. Sharing my personal favorites is necessary because so many of you ask what products will make your hair bigger. So stay tuned as I share the shampoos, sprays, lotions, mousses, creams, and fibers that give me my best hair days.

Before starting this list let’s disclaim that what may work for one person may not work for another. Different curl types, color-treated hair, and other reasons can factor into this. Some products might be too heavy or too light for your curls or maybe you don’t want to use certain ingredients. In these instances, trial and error is your best friend during your product search.

Shea Moisture Dragons Blood Sham & Coffee Cherry Volume +

SheaMoisture Dragon’s Blood & Coffee Cherry Volume + Shampoo & Conditioner

This lightweight formula is designed to plump up flat, thinning hair. It’s a gentle sulfate-free formula that contains dragons blood, coffee cherry, shea butter as well as black currant and borage oils. The shampoo surprisingly made my hair feels soft and had great slip. Many shampoo’s of my past haven’t always offered those two factors.

The conditioner is also light but still moisturizes well. It’s perfect for finer curls and a good prep for your stylers so that your curls are weightless.

Aveda Volumizing Tonic

Aveda Volumizing Tonic

A newer product in my curl arsenal is the Aveda Volumizing Tonic. This spray contains certified organic aloe and wheat amino acids to build body and add shine. It’s intoxicating scent is because of Aveda’s  pure-fume™ mixture of jasmine, rose, certified organic clove and other pure flower and plant essences.

While the hair is still damp, I spray a generous amount of this into my roots. Then to make the curls weightless, I pair a volumizing mousse to add lift and body. For maximum volume, a blast from the blowdryer with a diffuser attachment adds maximum volume.

Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Curl Activating Mousse

Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Curling Mousse

While on the subject of mousses, a hot ticket item is the Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Curling Mousse. This particular one is free of alcohol, parabens, dyes, phthalates and now even silicones. It keeps your curls moisturized and defined but very soft with a light hold. It also provides humidity control and it’s safe for natural and color treated hair.

Mousses give curly hair a ton of volume which just makes the hair look thicker than it actually is. This is one of those products that I just love because it gives me 2nd day hair on day one.

Hask Biotin Boost Thickening Cream

Hask Biotin Boost Thickening Cream

This next product WAS my favorite until learning it was discontinued. It’s still available on some websites (as of now) which is the only reason to include it. The Hask Biotin Boost Thickening Cream is amazing because it is one of the only creams that clumps my curls together to make them look thicker. It contains biotin, collagen and coffee and it’s free of sulfates, parabens, phthlates, gluten, drying alcohols and artificial colors.

The cream formula is lightweight and used prior to my styling cream and after my leave-in conditioner. However, this favorite has a short timeline so if anyone can find a replacement, please comment below!

OGX Moroccan Sea Salt Spray

OGX Moroccan Sea Salt Spray

One rule that curly girls have been taught is too not use products that dry out the hair. However, rules are meant to be broken which is why I’ve incorporated a sea salt spray into my routine.

An affordable option is the OGX Moroccan Sea Salt Spray. It has a beautiful beach-like fragrance and contains sea salt for texture and sea kelp for moisture. However, don’t get too excited because it will not moisturize your hair. This is not a product that needs to be used daily or in large amounts to be effective but it works well to make your hair look full fast.

Plan on deep conditioning one to two times per week if you plan to use sea salt sprays. In my experience, using it on 2nd or 3rd day hair that already has a cream buildup has worked best. Spray this from the mid shaft area down to your ends while the head is flipped upside down and do some light scrunching. Once it air drys, your hair will get major volume.

Some also like to use this on damp hair but just be sure to detangle well prior to using it. Using it in conjunction with a moisturizing curl cream has shown the least drying results but I still prefer using it on old hair.

Toppik Hair Building Fibers

Toppik Hair Building Fibers

Lastly on my list are Toppik Hair Fibers. This is one of my best kept secrets because people constantly comment on how my hair looks so thick but it’s all lies! This is a scalp, edge, and part concealer that looks so natural. It will fill in your thinning areas, conceal hair loss, provide a root touch-up between coloring and makes fine hair look thick and full.

The product itself is made of keratin protein that attaches itself to your existing hair to make it look thicker. This also washes out easily and it’s wind, rain, and perspiration resistant.

And that completes the list of my favorite volumizing products for fine, curly hair. Please comment below and share your personal favorites with me!

Sadly, this holy grail product of mine is being discontinued so it’s not easy to find. If you are lucky enough to snag it, stock up! This is made with biotin, collagen & coffee and the cream formula is lightweight. What makes this amazing is that it clumps curls together to give visible volume. In my experience, applying this after my leave-in conditioner and before my styler works best. Watch this to see the before and after.

The Mane Choice Herbal Tonic & Soy Milk Softening Milk

A newer addition to my curl collection is the Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Softening Milk. It’s not easy finding cream stylers for fine, low-density curls that don’t weigh it down the hair and include wonderful ingredients. It does contain a variety of oils but surprisingly it doesn’t weigh down the hair. The formula has great slip and softens the hair so it can be used as both your leave-in and a moisturizer. Some of the other benefits are that it soothes a dry scalp, promotes hair growth and strengthens & nourishes the hair.

DevaCurl Styling Cream

DevaCurl Styling Cream for fine low density curls

The O.G. styling cream that never leaves my side is the DevaCurl Styling Cream. It is truly my one and done product that is the MOST dependable. This is for those that like soft and touchable definition, want to add moisture, and frizz-control. Best of all, DevaCurl’s products are always 100% sulfate, paraben, silicone free. This can be used alone as well as in layers by starting with a leave-in and/or adding a bit of gel on top for more hold.

Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Curl Activating Mousse

Don’t sleep on the mousse! If you have curls are fine and low-density a mousse can help give you day 2 or 3 volume on day 1! The Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Curl Activating Mousse is very popular with curly influencers and for good reason. It gives the hair lift and volume, the hold is lightweight, it offers humidity protection, controls frizz and it is paraben, silicone, dye, and alcohol free. I typically just use a lightweight leave in and follow up with the mousse and that’s it. In my experience, adding gels or creams defeats the purpose and weighs the hair down.

DevaCurl Light Defining Gel

DevaCurl Light Defining Gel

For overall definition and hold, the DevaCurl Light Defining Gel does the job. This soft hold gel makes the curls shiny and defined. Not a crunchy curl in sight! When I need a wash and go to last longer than a few days, the DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel is the alternate. Both gels have a formula that is non-sticky on the hands.

Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo

Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo for fine, low-density curls

Many wouldn’t consider a dry shampoo as part of their stylers for fine curly hair. Why? Because most dry shampoos are sprays or powders and leave the hair more dry, or sticky or a residue. The Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo is very innovative because it is a foam formula. It uses witch hazel & rice starch to absorb oil and organic honey to add shine and body. This is super helpful for the day after you’ve done a scalp massage with oils. If you don’t have fine, curly hair than this may not be a necessity but if oil-based scalp massages are causing flat roots, this is the product for you. Another great use is to use this after experimenting with new products that are too heavy for the hair.

Creme of Nature Perfect Edges

Creme of Nature Perfect Edges for fine, low-density curls

Fine, curly and low-density hair has a reputation for looking see-through, scalpy and thin. Luckily, this edge control covers many bases by offering temporary color, filling in thin edges, and covering grays. A must-have item for slick ponytails and updos.

Innersense Harmonic Healing Oil

Lastly, is my favorite oil the Innersense Harmonic Healing Oil. It’s great for the hair, skin, and nails and a blend of many oils like safflower, evening primrose, macadamia seed, tamanu, hazel seed, orange flower jojoba seed and rosemary. As a treatment, massage a few generous pumps to the scalp and ends. Leave it on for 20 minutes, then follow up with a shampoo and conditioner. Your curls will feel softer and more manageable. It’s lightweight formula also adds shine, smells fantastic and doesn’t leave the hair coated.

And that completes my list of my favorite stylers for fine, low-density curls. Share your personal favorites down below in the comments.
